2018 New Zealand Best Design Awards Announced

The Designers Institute of New Zealand announced winners of the 2018 Best Design Awards in Auckland at a spectacular awards ceremony attended by special guests including the Governor-General of New Zealand, Her Excellency, Dame Patsy Reddy and her husband Sir David Gascoigne. Among the special guests were King Tuheitia – Waikto Tainui iwi, Prince Korotangi Paki – Waikto Tainui iwi; Te Arataura Chairperson, Rukumoana Schaffhausen – Waikto Tainui and Sir Tipene O’Regan- Ngāi Tahu iiwi.

The coveted John Britten Black Pin was awarded to Rik Campbell and Steve le Marquand, Resn.
